Transport & Arrival
Getting to Dubai
Dubai is seamlessly connected to all global business capitals. Review airport connections and local transport to plan your arrival smoothly.
By air
Dubai International Airport (DXB) is one of the world's busiest hubs with direct flights from most major cities. Al Maktoum International (DWC) serves as the second international gateway.
Direct routes from over 240 destinations across Europe, the Americas, Asia, and Africa.
Getting around
Dubai Metro, taxis and ride-hailing services provide reliable, clean transit throughout the city. Allow extra travel time during peak morning and evening traffic windows.
Contactless payment is available across the metro, tram, bus network, and city taxis.
Arriving from abroad
Most international visitors fly into DXB. We recommend arranging airport transfers in advance or booking official airport taxis from designated terminal ranks.
Hotel shuttles and app-based pickups operate smoothly from arrivals concourses.
Immigration & Requirements
Visas & entry
Review UAE entry regulations well in advance to ensure seamless transit through international immigration.
Entry requirements depend on nationality. Many visitors can obtain a visa on arrival or apply for an e-visa online, while others must secure an entry permit in advance through authorized channels.
Check with your nearest UAE embassy, consulate, or your chosen airline well before travel. Make sure your passport is valid for at least six months from your planned date of entry into the United Arab Emirates.
If your organisation requires an official event participation or visa facilitation letter to support an entry application, our operations desk is available to assist confirmed trade delegates.
